Student-Athlete Workshops

Interactive, age-appropriate sessions that give athletes practical tools they can use immediately — confidence, stress management, emotional regulation, resilience, pressure, handling mistakes, healthy identity, communication, and burnout prevention.

The goal: Give athletes a shared language and practical skills for the mental side of sports.

02

Team Sessions

Healthy teams are built through more than physical training. Our team sessions help athletes strengthen communication, trust, resilience, accountability, and emotional awareness while creating a healthier team culture.

The goal: Build teams where athletes can compete together while supporting one another.

03

Coach Training

Coaches have an enormous influence on the mental and emotional environment athletes experience. We provide practical education to help coaches recognize mental-health concerns, communicate effectively, understand the pressures young athletes face, and know when additional support may be appropriate.

The goal: Give coaches tools without asking them to become mental-health professionals.

04

Parent Education

Parents are an essential part of an athlete's support system. Our parent education helps families understand the mental and emotional side of youth sports and learn how to support athletes through pressure, setbacks, confidence challenges, burnout, and transitions.

The goal: Help parents become a source of support rather than additional pressure.

05

Online Resources

Mental wellness doesn't stop when a workshop ends. Peak Athlete Wellness provides resources that athletes, coaches, and families can access beyond the field — helping reinforce healthy habits and continue the conversation throughout the season.

06

Clinical Support

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Meoshia Abrams, LICSW brings professional clinical expertise to the mission of Peak Athlete Wellness. When an athlete needs support beyond education and team programming, appropriate clinical services and referrals can help connect young people and families with the level of care they need.

Education, prevention, and early support matter. So does knowing when it's time for more.

Our Experience

Supporting Young Athletes Beyond the Game

Peak Athlete Wellness has worked directly with youth athletes and their families through team-based mental wellness programming, helping athletes develop practical skills around confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, managing pressure, communication, and maintaining a healthy balance between sports and life.

Our initial programming was developed through our work with an AAU softball team and its families, providing valuable insight into the real-world mental and emotional challenges young athletes face both on and off the field.

We're now expanding that work to middle and high school athletic programs throughout Central Alabama, partnering with schools, coaches, athletes, and families to build healthier, more resilient athletes — both in competition and in life.

Program Scheduling

When We Run Programming

Programming is scheduled directly with each school, team, or organization, typically built around that team's practice, season, or off-season calendar. Workshops and team sessions can run as a single session, a short series, or ongoing programming throughout a season.
